Ultimate Seduction Posts and Moderation

Confidence - Hypnosis - Seduction - NLP - Psychic Influence - Advanced Persuasion

Some members of the Ultimate Seduction Group are moderated. The reason why members are moderated is because their posts may be rejected for one of a number of reasons. We only reject about one out of every 30 posts.

This group is about Effective Communication. You are not only expected to learn about Effective Communication - you are expected to practice it!!!

Of course, no one likes having their post moderated, but it's for ease of use for everyone. And we've been doing it this way for the past four years and have seen this group grow to become the biggest Self-Help Yahoo group. So we must be doing something right.

Below are the common reasons why a member's post may be rejected:

  1. Failure to trim the group's footer from your reply. Please correct your post, then resubmit.
  2. - Replying to a post with a new topic without changing the subject, or
    - Posting a message that does not have a subject.
Please correct your post, then resubmit.
  3. Replying to a digest post without changing the subject from "Digest # ???" to the proper subject you are replying to. Please correct your post, then resubmit.
  4. Posting a message that has absolutely no educational value to anyone.
Examples include posturing, making a long series of unsubstantiated claims, bragging, issuing a challenge, or attempting to push someone's buttons, whether blatantly or subtly. We insist and demand that you demonstrate respect for other posters!
  5. Violation of any part of our FAQ:
     a) Violation of our anti-spam rules - READ, which includes trainers with very long promotional signatures, or trainers promoting a product without first substantially contributing to the Group, or
     b) Discussion of something that is off-limits or banned from this group, or
    c)  Making claims of questionable ability (levitation, etc) and/or asking to be directly contacted or visit a website for more information
Remember, just because you claim your post isn't spam doesn't mean we won't say it is.
  6. Posting on a subject that is off topic for this group. Remember, this group is about persuasion, seduction, hypnosis, NLP, and related topics.
  7. Bringing a disagreement from another group onto this group. This will get you banned.
  8. Posting on a topic thread that has been declared over by the Moderator
  9. Poor spelling or grammar. Plse, u r not 2 poost lik this or i will deelete yr pst.
  10. a) WRITING IN ALL CAPITALS - IT IS CONSIDERED EXTREMELY RUDE!!!
    b) or, writing like i am writing now i am not using any capitals or punctuation when you do not even capitalize "i", you are demonstrating a poor self-image i really mean this.
  11. Referencing an unapproved commercial website that either has:
    a) has no privacy statement, or
    b) has an unacceptable privacy statement, or a privacy statement that does not guarantee privacy (duh!).
  12. Referencing an unapproved commercial website of questionable content. This includes dubious products, or "made for AdSense/Advertising" websites. This also includes websites with a Google PageRank of ZERO, which means Google has indexed the site and considers the site to be low quality. This also usually means the site contains spam or duplicate content. Many sites promoting "hidden secrets", or one page sites that harvest email addresses, or affiliate one-pager sites, fall into this category. This will get you kicked for the first offense, banned for subsequent offenses.
  13. Not indenting with ">" the previous poster's comments. This is a text-only forum. HTML emails are usually rejected. Emails that mix your comments with others will be rejected. You must indent with ">" the previous poster's replies.
Look, anyone reading the thread must be able to easily distinguish between what you wrote, what you are responding to, and who you are responding to, right? Mixing your response with another person's comments is not only lazy, it makes your post difficult to decipher. And difficult posts are moderated out. Remember - YOU ARE NOT ONLY EXPECTED TO LEARN ABOUT EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATIONS - YOU ARE EXPECTED TO PRACTICE IT!

Please note that, to properly format your message, we insist of the following settings:

  • From Edit My Membership, go to Message Preference, and select Traditional
  • Configure your email client is set to send plain text messages only to this group

You have to remember that your post will go into our group's message archives. People browsing that archive need to be able to trust your message subject in order to find out if you are offering them useful advice, right?

Some people subscribe to the Digest version of the Group's messages. Failure to trim your posts can not only result in blowing up their inbasket, but it can limit the usefulness of the group's search function.

In addition, most of the commercial websites out there are selling crap. Many of them have marketing text that would make P.T. Barnum proud. We don't allow those websites here.

Look, attention to detail counts. In life, and with our group. Keep that in mind when you are on our little group. Abide by these rules, and you'll be removed from moderated status. On the other hand, if someone's unmoderated posts break these rules they can be placed on moderated status really quick. And oh - giving any of our Moderators crap is an example of ineffective communication. Insulting the moderators is an example of really bad communication.

Remember, this group is about persuasion. You can best persuade us by following these simple guidelines.

Thank You.
